Investment Banking Experience

Mr. Swartzwelder's experience spans over 17 years in the energy industry as investment banker, owner/investor, operator and engineer.  Over his career, Mr. Swartzwelder has assisted energy companies in marketing, structuring and executing a number of complex transactions.

Transaction experience includes capital raises, company sales, mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations   . Mr. Swartzwelder has concentrated his transaction experience in the Energy sector.

Prior to forming PetroGrowth Advisors, he was with The Principal's Energy Investment Banking Group.  He has served as CFO for a frac stimulation services company, which was ultimately sold to Key Energy Services. He was also an operator/analytical engineer with ARCO Oil & Gas responsible for production, drilling, reservoir and divestiture activities throughout the Permian Basin.

Mr. Swartzwelder is a majority owner in multiple energy service and equipment companies.  He is a licensed Registered Representative and a General Securities Principal.

Personal

Mr. Swartzwelder, his wife and two daughters reside in Dallas, Texas.

§Extensive capital raising and M&A experience with exploration and production and oilfield services companies.
§Prior to forming Petrogrowth Advisors, Grant worked for The Principal as an energy investment banker and for ARCO Oil & Gas as an Operation/Analytical Engineer, responsible for production, drilling, reservoir and divestiture activities throughout the Permian Basin. 
§Majority owner in multiple oilfield services companies:  American Peak Production, OTA Compression, Tex-Star Water Services, D&T Oilfield Rentals and Professional Acidizing and Cementing.
§Served as interim CFO for American Energy Services, a Permian Basin based frac stimulation company.  Led capital raise and advised on the sale to Q Services, which was later purchased by Key Energy Services.
§M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
